#100 Reasons to Recover Challenge- Day 2- #1 Reason to Recover
Put simply, I'd like to be able to do normal things.
I'd love to be able to drink a cup of tea without feeling bloated and fat.
I'd love to be able to shower without having feelings of shame and disgust.
I'd love to be able to smile and really mean it.
I'd love to be able to live my life truthfully, without having to hide ED, anxiety,
depression.
I'd love to be able to wear what I want and feel comfortable in clothing.
I'd love to be able to get out of bed and feel like I can face the day ahead.
I'd love to be able to walk into the kitchen without being afraid or feeling
defeated.
I'd love to be able to go food shopping and not be embarrassed or panic
stricken.
I'd love to be able to not worry about my weight.
I'd love to be able to go outside without make up on.
I'd love to be able to go a day without feeling paranoid and self-conscious.
I'd love to be able to take a slow or causal walk without feeling like I need to
burn more calories.
I'd love to be able to eat chocolate and not feel guilty.
I'd love to be able to look in the mirror and compliment myself.
I'd love to be able to try clothes on in a shop and not have a panic attack.
I'd love to be able to share a meal with the people I love and not be so anxious.
I'd love to be able to treat myself to nice things.
I'd love to be able to concentrate better on my studies and turn off my racing
thoughts.
I'd love to do so many things that I'm held back at. I think one of the most important things I'd love to be able to do is to be proud of myself and feel like I have a life worth living. That I'm going to be okay and that I am okay.
