Three Good Things- Day Six
Three good things: Jot down three things that went well for you each day and give an explanation as to why these good things occurred
- Managed to write 2 book reviews on my other blog, I've been meaning to write more on it for ages but I always forget. I wrote it down to do and I enjoyed ticking it off the list
- I've sorted out my files on my computer, all of my pictures are now in orders and folders that make sense and are easy to find!
- Replied to all important emails about tuition, university, mentoring etc. so all up to date with everything urgent and don't have to worry about checking it all/typing stuff out tomorrow.
Woah!
This video was found after random searches on youtube- its soooo cool! I love the part with the egg and mousetrap. Everything is so beautiful in slow motion!
I also found this awesome one with a watermelon, watch till the end its FAB!
Feeling Overwhelmed?
Stay Safe.... http://www.rcpsych.ac.uk/mentalhealthinfo/problems/feelingoverwhelmed.aspx
This really helped me, putting together a safety plan is a very good idea. There is always hope.

World Issues
I often worry (probably too much) about world issues, why things like poverty and illness aren't irradicated from all countries, why there are such large development gaps and why everyone isn't treated equally. I know I can only do my bit in the world; I recycle, try not to waste, don't use products tested on animals, donate to charity shops, buy from charity shops, reuse, try to buy UK grown produce (where possible)... etc, but perhaps there is hope from the rest of the world too. Maybe things are changing....... slowly but surely the world is becoming a better place for everyone...
Three Good Things- Day Five
I had no internet yesterday, so this post is actually for Friday 18th Jan, not the 19th!!
Three good things: Jot down three things that went well for you each day and give an explanation as to why these good things occurred

- Did some yoga! I started doing 15 minutes of yoga in the morning and 15 minutes at bed time each day but practice slipped over Christmas, now back in the swing of it and feel good that I managed to do both today :)
- Crossed off 9/11 things on my to-do list today, massive achievement
- Made some headway on my latest piece of coursework, finally found some motivation to do something, proud of efforts.
Mental Illness
A video I found with a very interesting approach to spreading the message about mental health. I had no idea mental health problems affected so many people....

Three Good Things- Day Four (-ish)
Three good things: Jot down three things that went well for you each day and give an explanation as to why these good things occurred Not too good at this everyday malarky... been thinking about it but just not blogged it :)
- Got repeat prescription, went into doctors and sorted it out- one worry to cross off the list
- For my course, you needed to take part in psychology research studies for third year students, across the year we have to have at least 900 credits (you get a credit a minute, so essentially you need to be in 900 minutes of research) and thankfully I finished all the studies tonight so I don't even have to think about that part of the course anymore. RELIEF!
- It snowed, I know its a bad one but snow is beautiful. The train journey up to uni from home was lovely looking out on the snow covered fields and iced over water, beautiful.

Three Good Things- Day Three (-ish)
Three good things: Jot down three things that went well for you
each day and give an explanation as to why these good things
occurred It's not going too well so far in regards to this, my aim was to get to 7 days but been so busy revising and now back at university I haven't had time, but here we go...
- Exams are over- I have finished all my revision and taken both my exams, feel good about them, managed to do every question without too much hesitation on a few so I have a good feeling about them
- Started doing yoga everyday- 15 mins in the morning and 15 minutes before bed, feel really good for it and enjoy it too. I didn't think I'd have time this morning as my exam was at 9am but managed to get up and do some
- Enjoyed some quiet time in my room; read some of my Life of Pi kindle book and then had a nap for an hour or so as I was so tired... I enjoyed the peace and calm nature of the day
